The Croatan Forum is an intimate, thought-provoking convening where leaders will gather to discuss opportunities to address challenges at the critical nexus where finance, investment, and social and environmental change intersect.

After continued monitoring of the COVID-19 pandemic and thorough discussion with our Forum Advisory Committee, we have decided to postpone the Croatan Forum until fall 2021. The Croatan Forum is designed to be a connective experience with networking opportunities and time for deepening in-person relationships and establishing new partnerships. The Forum has been intentionally designed as an experience that we don’t think can be duplicated through an online event.

The Forum is produced by Croatan Institute, an independent nonprofit research institute whose mission is to harness the power of investment for social good and ecological resilience.

The Croatan Forum provides a unique setting for senior level decision-makers -- from the fields of sustainable, responsible, and mission-related impact investment, fund management, institutional investment, community development finance, investment consulting, and investor engagement and financial activism -- to explore emerging opportunities for investing in solutions to some of the most urgent challenges of the 21st century. The Forum also showcases many of the leading collaborative initiatives that Croatan Institute and its partners have forged at the frontlines of finance, social good, and ecological resilience.

[The Forum] brings together leading practitioners, investors, and thought leaders at the intersection of a number of different areas that are critical to our work, and it’s rare to have a place where all those come together in one great package.
