The Croatan Forum is a gathering for leaders working at the critical nexus where finance, sustainability, and economic development intersect.

The Forum is produced by Croatan Institute, an independent nonprofit research institute whose mission is to harness the power of investment for social good and ecological resilience. Since its launch in 2014, the Institute has rapidly established a reputation for rigorous, action-oriented research on investing in constructive solutions to some of the major challenges of the 21st century.

First held in 2018, the Croatan Forum is a thought-provoking, multi-day conversation where leaders will gather to discuss cross-cutting issues currently facing their fields. The Forum's content is produced under the oversight of an advisory committee with expertise in subjects including:

  • Impact Investing and Sustainable Finance
  • Climate Solutions and Just Transitions
  • Resilient Communities and Regenerative Economies
  • Social Equity and Inclusive Finance
  • Corporate Sustainability and Engagement

Join this important series of conversations April 27-29, 2020 in Durham, NC.
